Darlene Carrol Anita Renden (nee Wright, Childress) at the age of 83, born in Collinsville, IL passed away peacefully in Hospice care on April 3, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin D. and Julia M. (Roach) Harris; brother, Lester B. and Margret (Itz) Harris, sisters Doris (Roland) Hart, Dorthy (Camille) Oulvey, Ruth (Robert) Schikowski.

Surviving is her husband Robert, her children Julia (Guy) St. Amant of Baton Rouge, LA, Jeffery (Katherine) Wright, Jil (Chris) Daw, both of St. Louis, MO. Grand children Ethan St. Amant and Tegan Daw; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Darlene worked at McDonald Douglas in Security Administration, for approximately 17 years.  For many years Darlene was a member of the Methodist Church in Collinsville, IL.  Darlene enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts, and playing cards on Fridays with her friends.

Cremation rites are being handled by Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.
