Darlene Jonas

Darlene Jonas 68 of Caseyville, Illinois passed away at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois on Monday May 22, 2017. Darlene was born on May 28, 1948 the daughter of the late Ira and Bernice nee Worden Thompson. She was also preceded by her husband Gerald Lynn Jonas and two brothers Ira and George Thompson. And one great granddaughter Remington Rae''Lynn Jonas.

Darlene was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and friends and loved her flowers and working in her garden. She also enjoyed several years with her furry friends Baily and Mugzee Malone Jonas. She formally worked at Andrea''s Steak House and Clinton Hill Country Club.

She is survived by her children Gerald Bruce (Dawn) Jonas of Collinsville, Illinois, Cory (Melanie) Jonas of Caseyville, Illinois and Mandy (Chris Welmon) Jonas Ludgate of Caseyville, Illinois. Also survived by her sisters Rosemary Thompson of Jasper, Indiana and Judy Fuller of Bridgeport, Illinois. Also seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Visitation: A gathering of friends and family will be conducted on Thursday May 25, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Illinois.

Services: A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday May 25, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Friends and family are invited to the Hollywood Heights Fire Department Caseyville, Illinois following the service
