Darrell P. Fricke, 83, of Caseyville, Ill., born Friday, May 15, 1931, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Eden Village Care Center, Glen Carbon, Ill.
Darrell retired after 30 years from Consolidated Aluminum as a millwright. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Fairview Heights; Past-president of United Steelworkers Union 4804; COPE and Industrial Credit Union; and was a Caseyville Township Trustee and Precinct Committeeman. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou, nee Shellenberg, Fricke; a daughter, Debra Fricke; his parents, Charles Bud and Thelma, nee Rose, Fricke; and two brothers, Ronald "Butch" Fricke, and Staff Sgt. Charles "Chub" Fricke.
Surviving are a daughter, Rita (Kenny) Miller of Pocahontas, Ill.; two grandchildren, Ronnie Miller of Highland, Ill., and Mary (Chris) Bohlen of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister, Dolores Cange of Belleville, Ill.; and three great-grandchildren, Scott Miller and Ethan and Kendall Bohlen; and many nieces, and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, with Father Ray Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
