David W. Petty, 41, of Fairview Heights, Ill., born Jan. 7, 1970, in Chicago Heights, Ill., died at 5:17 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at Caseyville Nursing Center, Caseyville, Ill.



Mr. Petty was a member of the Briarcliff Pentecostal Church.



He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Wayne Petty; and a nephew, Johnathon Freeman.



Surviving are his mother and step-father, Patsy, nee Hill, and Ronald Roberts of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a sister, Angela (Billy) Lattimer of Dyersburg, Tenn.; three step-sisters, Laurie A. Roberts of Mammoth Springs, Ark., Patricia Roberts of Belleville, Ill., and Cindy L. Frailey of Couch, Mo.; a step-brother, Rodney Roberts of Belleville, Ill.; paternal grandmother, Gloria Roberts of Caseyville, Ill.; and a nephew, Christopher Freeman of Red Bud, Ill.
