Dawn Eileen Lamprecht, 74, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away Monday, November 26 ^th , 2018 at 1:46 PM in her home with family at her side. She was born June 25 ^th , 1944 in Bloomington, Illinois to Elvin and Odessa (Peltz) Springer.

Her parents and one son preceded her in death.

Dawn is survived by her daughters, Kim Lamprecht of Collinsville, Illinois, Kelly (Jeff) Counts of New Melle, Missouri; grandchildren, Jimmie (Christian) Alvarez, Cody (Erin) Alvarez, Kasey (Steven) Young, Allison Counts, Sophia Counts; and great-grandchildren, Audrie Alvarez, Oaklan Alvarez, Gavin Morrell, Kaydi Morrell and Emma Dawn Young. She is also survived by one brother Marion "Doc" (Jan) Springer of Plant City, Florida.

Dawn was a loving, supportive mother and friend to many.  She graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She owned and operated Interior Design Services that she started in the early 1980's and also was a beautician, working out of her home. She had a brilliant eye for design, loved the arts and was wiser beyond belief.

Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, December 8 ^th , 2018 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 8 ^th , 2018 at 5:00 pm at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois; Celebrant Erin Cox officiating. Friends and family are invited back to her home to celebrate her life following her memorial service.
