COLLINSVILLE- Deane M. Wilson, 83, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Deane was born on April 11, 1934, in Bogota, IL, the youngest of seven children born to David and Pearl, nee Phillips, Wilson. They preceded her in death, as did her siblings: John P. Wilson, Medford R. Wilson, Rhoda K. Medenwald, Ira C. "Ike" Wilson, Ora Jane Bugger, and Marian I. Hileman, and two nieces.

Surviving are a sister-in-law, Lilly Wilson of Brownsburg, IN, and seven nieces and seven nephews to whom she was a dear aunt and friend.

A graduate of Newton High School, Deane was a life-long and passionate St. Louis Cardinals fan who retired after more than 30 years working for the federal government in St. Louis.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor''s choice. Additional condolences may also be sent to the family through this online guestbook.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Honey Cemetery in Bogota. Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
