Debbie Mitchell (nee Papproth), 71, of Collinsville, IL., passed away on February 19, 2025, at her residence.

Born December 3, 1953, daughter of Josephine and Ronald Papproth of Collinsville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, brothers; Kenny Papproth, Bud Dill, Terry Dill of Collinsville, IL, sister; Karen Papproth of Collinsville, brother-in-law; Steve Buffo, nephew; Steve Buffo Jr of Troy, IL.

Survived by her husband of 41 years John Mitchell whom she married on July 15, 1983.

Also survived by her brothers; Louis (Jonie) Papproth of Caseyville, Donald Papproth of Collinsville, Billy George Papproth of Collinsville, sisters; Sharon Buffo of Troy, Linda (Dale) Agne and Brenda (Bill) Vance of Lebanon, IL., sister-in-law; Deanna Papproth of Collinsville, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews of whom she loved dearly. We will miss her smiling face and special laugh. She will be loved and missed by all.

There will be no visitation.

There will only be a graveside service at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville at a later date.
