COLLINSVILLE, IL- Delores "Dee" A. Dunbar, 81, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Morningside of Troy.

Dee was born August 17, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to Dominick and Edna (Bress) Nigra. She married Herbert Dunbar at Holy Cross Lutheran Church; he preceded her in death on June 5, 2017.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Don Nigra and Betty Kitch.

Dee is survived by her son, Thomas Haig (fiancé, Dawn McCulloh) of Collinsville, IL; her nieces, nephews and cousins; and special caregiver, Joan Qualls.

Dee worked as an accountant for Modern Motors in Belleville, IL for a number of years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial donations may be made to the Metro East Humane Society in Edwardsville, IL. Donations may be given at the funeral home. Additional condolences may also be sent to the family through this online guestbook.

VISITATION: A visitation for Dee will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

FUNERAL:  A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, IL.
