Delores "Doris" Shirley McMullen, 88, of Collinsville, Illinois, born June 14, 1936, in Collinsville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Brightly Senior Living, Glen Carbon, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Gladys, nee Gribat, Yonkus; Sisters Anne Cattani and Eleanor Yonkus, Great-Nephew Tyler King, and Great-Niece Andrea Beckman.

Surviving are her beloved husband Kenneth "Mac" McMullen, Daughter Terri Perez, Son Donald Perez, Sister Louise Gillespie, Granddaughter Kelly (Benjamin) Kleeman, Grandson Kory (Stephanie) Perez, Great-Grandsons Jack Kleeman, Elijah Perez, William Perez, and multiple treasured Nieces and Nephews and their families.

Doris was a wonderful and giving homemaker, mother and grandmother. She married her dear and devoted husband Mac on December 3, 1977; together they shared over 40 years of love, travel and creating many memories with family and friends. Doris enjoyed filling photo albums with her photos, working jigsaw puzzles, daily walks, tending to her flower garden, and dancing the night away. Doris also spent many hours volunteering at St. John United Church of Christ in Collinsville, Illinois. She was dedicated to the welfare of all animals, from songbirds to donkeys, and every creature in between.

Delores will be interred at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon, Illinois. A private celebration of her life is planned for a future date.
