DeLoyce Ruth Rhoads, nee Bosworth, 82, of Madison, Ill., born July 18, 1931, in Madison, Ill., died at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Gateway Regional Medical Center, Granite City, Ill.

Mrs. Rhoads worked for L.E. Smith Jewelry. She was a member of the Madison Junior Services and the Madison Fire Department Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Rhoads, whom she married on Aug. 28, 1948, and who died Nov. 29, 2001; parents, Benjamin Homer and Ruth Lee, nee Jones, Bosworth; three sisters; and five brothers.

Surviving are her daughters, Deborah (James) Dillon of Chesterfield, Mo., and Donna Fouts of Granite City, Ill.; three grandchildren, Michael DeYong of Granite City, Ill., Andrea Luffman of San Antonio, Texas, and Jennifer Fouts of Granite City, Ill.; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Sondra (Vernon) Pumphrey of Granite City, Ill.; a brother, Jack Bosworth of Granite City, Ill.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
