Dennis D. Phegley

Dennis D. Phegley 85 of Collinsville, Ill. passed away on
December 20, 2016 in Maryville, Illinois. Dennis was born on
September 4, 1931 in Knoxall, Mo. the son of the late James Otto and Christine nee Chapman Phegley. He was preceded in death by his wife Glenda, nee Hughes, Phegley. He was also preceded by one daughter Delores J., two brothers James and Howard

He is survived by his children Dennis E. (Kim Kwasney) Phegley of Collinsville, Ill., Annette Adams of Collinsville, Ill and David (Tina) Phegley of Troy, Ill. Also, grandchildren; Jack (Suzanne) Phegley, April (Brad) Odell, Donald (Juanita) Ferguson, Jason and Stephen Ferguson, Jacob (Emily) Adams, Robbie (Taylor) Adams, Lucas Adams, Nicole Crider and Daniel Phegley. Also several great grand and great, great grandchildren.
Sisters Shirley (Bill) Sanders and Patricia (Don) Gordon.

Dennis was a steamfitter and member of Local 439. He enjoyed flying airplanes and welding and tinkering around the home.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill. from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday December 27, 2016.

Services: Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday December 28, 2016 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Sherman Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Memorial Estates in Fairview Heights, Ill.
