Dennis James Robertson, 63, of Collinsville, Ill., born Thursday, Jan. 18, 1951, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, at his residence.

Dennis loved his family and really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping, float trips, golfing and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Mary, nee Balentine, Robertson; and stepfather, Buford Hankins.

Surviving are his wife, Leona, nee Doggett, Robertson, whom he married on Nov. 28, 1970; daughter, Lisa (Michael) Riess of Collinsville, Ill.; son, Bobby (Tammy Sparks) Robertson of Collinsville, Ill.; brother, Terry (Bonnie) Robertson of Collinsville, Ill.; sisters, Janet Cline of Maryville, Ill., Linda (Pat Pisetta) Hankins of Collinsville, Ill., and Mary Ann (Doug) Andersen of Collinsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Ryan Robertson, Brittaney Cornett, Breann Sandage, Taylor Robertson, Billy Cornett, Chastity Sandage and Dani Coleman; great-grandchildren, Hailey Robertson and Stephani Tomlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
