Dennis D. Russell, 66, of Nokomis, Ill., born Tuesday, November 25, 1947, in St. Louis, Mo., died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James D. and Lola V. Russell; and two brothers, Eugene Russell and William Russell.

Surviving are his wife, Vickie, nee Morgan, Russell of Nokomis, Ill.; a son, Dennis (Brittany) Russell of Collinsville, Ill.; 2 daughters, Kelly J. Russell of Florissant, Mo., and Deborah D. Russell of St Louis, Mo.; 3 step-daughters, Crystal Mansfield of Nokomis, Ill., Kimberly Mansfield of Greensboro, N.C. and Danielle (Haley) Grace of St Ann, Mo.; 6 brothers, Robert Russell of Houston, Texas, David Russell of Phoenix, Ariz., Jim Russell of Killeen, Texas, Paul Russell of Mt. Olive, Ill, Joseph Russell of Gerster, Mo., and Gary (Patricia Rayburn) Russell of Fairview Heights, Ill.; two grandchildren, Mary A. Russell, and Gavin W. Russell; and step-granddaughter, Olivia Chaveigne.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the First Assembly of God Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Pastors Ryan Follis, and Myles Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
