Derek Wayne Strong, 50, of Collinsville, Illinois passed away suddenly at home on Saturday September 30, 2023. He was born on July 8th, 1973 in Granite City to parents Kenneth Wayne Strong and Carla Crummitt.

Those left to cherish his memory include his Mom, Carla (Terry) Crummitt, Father, Kenneth (Kathy) Strong, Brother, Daryn (Jennifer) Strong of Granite City, Step-Brothers and Step-Sisters, Nephew, Daltyn Strong, Niece, Lonnie Strong, many other nieces and nephews, and many friends and extended family.

As per the family's request, no memorial service will be held at this time.
