Diane Clark ,71,passed away Monday afternoon on October 6th, 2025, at her home in Edwardsville, IL.

She was born November 1, 1953, in Nameoki Township; the daughter of Elvis and Florence Doolin.

She was the youngest of six. Diane had three brothers, Ray, Jimmy and Kenny; as well as two sisters, Ruth Ann and Kay. She married Mike Timmons at 17 and had her only son Michael Timmons, Jr., in 1970.

She was a dedicated mother that worked three jobs when she was young to provide for her son. She later married Jerry Clark and spent 52 years together till her passing. She loved her Rottweiler dogs, taking care of the business, mowing their ten acres with her tractor, taking care of her house - always doing something.

She worked several years for Kmart Corporations. Spent a lot of years working with family at their mother and father's race track, "Tri City Speedway". She loved her family and life.

Diane was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease over five years ago and has been a fighter through it all. She was fortunate to spend her time in her home with family and never have to leave.

Diane is survived by her husband, Jerry Clark; her son, Michael Timmons, Jr.; her brother, Kenny Doolin, and sister, Kay Hinnen. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Elvis and Florence; brothers, Ray and Jimmy Doolin, and sister, Ruth Weckman.

She was Loved by many....

Funeral service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, October 10, 2025, from the chapel of Sunset Hill Funeral Home.

Family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates.
