Donald Ray Carlyle, 72 , of Collinsville, IL. passed away on Tuesday July 3, 2018 in Maryville, IL.  Don was born in St Louis, Mo.

On May 9, 1946 the son of the late Barney and Mildred nee Davis Carlyle.  He was also preceded by one brother William "Billy" Carlyle.

Don is survived by his wife Lucille nee Sweitzer Carlyle, children Johnny ( Rhonda) Carlyle of Maryville,Il., Donnie Gene Carlyle of Collinsville, Il. R.J. Collier II of Utah, Bobby (Melissa) Carlyle of Caseyville, Il. and one daughter Lucinda (Mike) Metheny of Collinsville, Il.  Also survived by one brother David (Alita) Carlyle of Ellsbury, Mo.  Thirteen grandchildren Madyson, Bobby Joe, Mackenzie, T.C., James, Josh, Alaina, Trinity, Jared, Jerrica, Caleb, Joey and Megan along with three great grandchildren John, Jordon and Kamden.

Don truly enjoyed his time with Madyson, Bobby Joe and Mackenzie.  He was a member of Fairmont Baptist Church in Fairmont City, Il., a member of the Emeth Masonic Lodge Cahokia, Il and Ainad Shrine.

Memorials may be given to Fairmont Baptist Church and condolences may be expressed through this online guestbook.

Masonic services at Herr Funeral Home Thursday July 5, 2018 at 7:00 P.M.

Friends may call at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Il on Thursday July 5, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday July 6, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mark Howell officiating.

Interment services will be at a later date.
