Donald E. Corbett's Obituary
Donald E. Corbett, age 82, of Maryville, died at 3:14 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City.
He was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Venice, the son of the late Floyd and Sylvia Hammond Corbett.
He married Dolores Tesson on Aug. 21, 1950. She survives.
Also surviving are: two sons: Rick (Paula) Corbett of Maryville and Mike Corbett of Pocahontas; one daughter: Gloria (Mitchell) Kimbal; one brother: David (Colleen) Corbett of Houston, Texas; one sister: Doris Buckingham of Collinsville; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Donald Corbett Jr.; one sister: Wilma Stroke and one daughter-in-law: Carla Corbett.
Donald belonged to the Edwardsville Moose and after 41 years retired from Conoco in St. Louis. He was a member of Our Lord's Lutheran Church.
Per his request, burial will be private in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
