Donald C. Edwards, 76, of Saint Jacob, Ill., born Oct. 23, 1934, in Richland, Wash., died at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2011, at his residence.



Mr. Edwards was a member of the Marine United Church of Christ, the teamsters and the NRA.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita, nee Blackwell, Edwards; son, Donald Edwards; and parents, Harold Robert and Marion Hazel, nee Scott, Edwards.



Surviving are his children, Michelle (David) Kries of Marine, Ill., Ralph (Rosanna) Edwards of Saint Jacob, Ill., and Mark (Jean) Edwards of Edwardsville, Ill.; daughter-in-law, Karen Edwards of Crown Point, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.
