Donald Edward Grieve, 64, of Troy, Ill., born Wednesday, July 19, 1950, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 1:05 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Donnie formerly worked for Yellow Freight as a truck driver. He was also a self-employed construction worker who built many of the homes in our area. Former owner and "Head Chef" at The Donz restaurant in Troy, Ill. Donnie was a people person and was willing to help anyone. He will be greatly missed not only by his family but those people around him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Grieve; mother, Bernice, nee Schoppe, Grieve-Adams; and stepfather, Richard Adams.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline, nee Ramage, Grieve, whom he married on May 30, 2003; sons, Richard Grieve of Troy, Ill., and Jason (Elizabeth) Grieve of Highland, Ill.; daughters, Laura (Justin) Frawley of Troy, Ill., and Christina Grieve of Highland, Ill.; grandchildren, Jordon, Michayla, Jenna and Malena Grieve and Brianne Hunter; sister, Janice (Bud) Talbert of Troy, Ill.; stepbrothers, Gary (Cindy) Adams of Troy, Mo., and Bill (Lisa) Adams of Martinez, Ga.; stepsister, Janet (Steve) Cline of Albany, Ore.; niece, Deanna (Todd) Neubauer of Troy, Ill.; and former wife, Zoe Grieve of Highland, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Horn officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
