Donald S. Hulsey, 94, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at his home with his family by his side.

Donald was born in Judsonia, Arkansas, on October 15, 1926, to Allen and Jessie (Smith) Hulsey.

He worked as a Truck Driver for his career for over 50 years and then continued to drive tour busses after retiring.  He loved the river, going to the lake house and watching his family ski, fishing, and making apple butter.  His family was most important to him and he enjoyed being with them.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda (Smith) Hulsey in 2009; son, Donald Hulsey Jr.; daughter, Donna Delgado; brothers: Earl, Clarence, David, and Kenneth; sisters: Genneva Brown and Hazel Billips.

Survivors include his sons: Glenn Hulsey and wife, Sally of Collinsville, Illinois, and Keith Hulsey of Collinsville, Illinois; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren;  2 great-great grandchildren;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private visitation and funeral service will take place at Herr Funeral Home of Collinsville, Illinois. Burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
