Donald C. Malm, 81, of Collinsville, Ill., born June 25, 1934, in Burlington, Iowa, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016, in Collinsville, Ill.
Mr. Malm served his country as an U.S Navy veteran. After his service to his country, Donald was employed with Monsanto in the International Business Relations for twenty five years. After his retirement from Monsanto he began a second career as a professor teaching at UMSL and SIUE.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Theresa nee Henning, Malm, a daughter Laura Jean Malm.
Surviving are his wife Donna K. Malm, his children; Richard Malm of St. Louis, Mo., Susan Malm O''Toole of Apopka, Fl. and Michael Malm of Wichita, Ks., brothers; Joseph Malm of Napperville, Ill. and David Malm of Annadale Va., sister Caroline Livingood of Postville, Ia. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation: As per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded and a time of reminiscing is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday June 9, 2016, at the Collinsville VFW, 1234 Vandalia St.
