Donald "Don" Scholebo Jr., 55, of Collinsville, IL, born February 23, 1965, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020.

Don was known by many titles. He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, friend and to Christine, he was "my sweet baby boy." He enjoyed watching Nascar, working in his yard, and spending time with his dogs. He was known for his love of classic rock music and was usually seen wearing his flannel shirts and jeans. Don was a simple man who kept his circle small, but to those in his circle; he was as loyal as they come. While we will miss him, we rejoice knowing he is reunited with his late mother, Glenda Kay (nee Poole) Dew.

Those left to cherish Don's memory include his father, Donald (Elaine) Scholebo Sr. of Union, MO; sister, Carla (Mike) Harris of Collinsville, IL; aunts, Karen (Randy) Dougherty of Edwardsville, IL; Christine (Michael) Wallace of Troy, IL; nephew, Joshua Norbury; niece; Caelyn (Quinn) Phillips and cousins, Nicole Norbury and Zoe Norbury.

In addition to his mother, Don is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Otis Scholebo and Frances (nee Cowell) Moehle and maternal grandparents, Harold and Marjorie Poole.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the family will be conducting a private service at Sunset Hill Funeral Home. Don will be laid to rest at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
