Donald D. Wyatt, 77, of Collinsville, Ill., born April 19, 1934, in Collinsville, Ill., died at 10:54 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at his residence.



Mr. Wyatt retired after 50 years from Schnucks Groceries where he was a baker. Don also worked at the Milinium Hotel and Butler Catering, both in St. Louis, Mo. He and his wife, Barbara, were soon to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.



Don was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Orville and Viola, nee Adams, Wyatt; brothers, Homer, Robert, Carl and Earl Wyatt; and sisters, Virginia Hillier, Mildred Baquet and Doris Fedder.



Surviving are his wife, Barbara, nee Malter, Wyatt, whom he married on Oct. 13, 1961; son, Todd D. (Shannon) Wyatt of Maryville, Ill.; daughter, Suzanne (Steve) Chance of Collinsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Alex, Nick, Benjamin, Tate and Ty; and brother, Clay (Shirley) Wyatt of Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Per family request cremation was done.
