IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donna Diane
Campbell
October 13, 1951 – January 14, 2026
Donna Diane Campbell was born on October 13th, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, to parents Birdell Mouser and Luveda Mouser, nee Eaker. She passed away peacefully during the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, at the age of 74. She will be missed beyond measure by those she held dear.
Donna had many passions in life, some of which included furniture restoration, painting, landscaping, and gardening - with a special fondness for roses. She spent 15+ years as a nail technician, a career in which she took great pride. Her clients were important to her; they were her friends and often sought out her council during their appointments. Those who knew her knew that she didn't consider anyone to be a stranger. She was one of the most positive and friendliest people you could ever hope to meet.
Family was of the utmost importance to Donna. She was the type of person who instantly became "mom" to everyone, partly because of her ability to make those around her feel nothing short of wanted. She even had a special knack for playing matchmaker; just ask her sons, David and Jeff. With her loss comes the loss of everyone's "best friend".
In addition to her beloved husband, Charles Allen Campbell, Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Birdell and Luveda Mouser; brothers, Glenn Mouser and Dennis Mouser; and niece, Dawn Weber.
She is survived by her brother, Terry (Dawn) Mouser; sister, Vicki (Ken) Moss; children, Tim (Monica) Moneymaker, Jeff (Jennifer) Campbell, David (Sahn) Moneymaker, Cathy (Tori) Campbell Ray, and Maryann Aldrete; grandchildren, Lane Moneymaker, Jamie (Kirsten) Nowicki, Samantha (Aaron) Womack, Justin (Katelynn) Heavilon, Caleb (Paige) Nowicki, Fletcher Moneymaker, Fallon (Robbie) Clark, Andrew Thompson, Stephen Moneymaker, Sarah Moneymaker, Grace Moneymaker, Lindsey Mannon, and Logan Mannon; eight great grandchildren; and Donna's best friend, Leta (Bob) Jones.
A public visitation will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon. Pastor Mark Maynard will be officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
The family is being served by Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, IL, 62034.
