Donna Louise (Kyro) Jackson, 85, of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away on April 24th, 2025 in St Louis, Missouri. She was born to parents Walter Kyro and Stella (Rapacz) Kyro on July 25th, 1939 in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Donna graduated from Edwardsville High School and went on to marry her beloved husband, Ralph Milton Jackson, Sr. on December 3rd, 1955. They had 5 children together. Donna was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, and worked as a school bus driver for the Edwardsville School District for 51 years. She enjoyed gardening and storytelling. She gave the best hugs, and was known to be quite the prankster. Most of all, she loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Milton Jackson, Sr., and their five children: Ralph (Patty) Jackson, Jr., Tammy (Bill) Fisher, Rodney (Lynn) Jackson, Sharrie (Rick) Boyles, and Sheila (Terry) Ridenbark. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren -with 2 more on the way, one brother, Walter "Butch" (Arlene) Kyro, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters: Delore Romatoski, Rose Leach, Kathy Long, and Karen Travis.

A private visitation and service for family only will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10-11:30 AM with burial immediately following in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family, or to an organization of your choice.
