Dora M. Focht, nee Sargent, 89, of Granite City, Ill., born Sept. 16, 1921, in Lima, Ohio, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Gateway Regional Medical Center, Granite City, Ill.



Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Focht, whom she married on July 3, 1943; sons, Allan Focht and Jack Focht; and her parents, Joe and Myrtle, nee Farrington, Sargent.



Surviving are daughter-in-law, Becky Focht and her deceased husband, Joey Focht Sr., of Granite City, Ill.; daughter, Judy Meyer of Granite City, Ill.; son, Carl Dean Focht of Carlinville, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren with two additional great-grandchildren on the way.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon, Ill.
