Doris Mae Jensen, nee Blair, 86, of Maryville, Ill., born April 15, 1926, in East Alton, Ill., died at 11:55 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Jensen worked for government defense contractors for more than 40 years. She started her career with Propelex and Western Olin and continuing with various defense contractors for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Ruby, nee Diamond, Blair; three sisters, Kay Posek, Annie Lou Cox and Nancy Campbell.
Surviving are her son, Larry Dale Landers of Edwardsville, Ill.; granddaughters, Angela (Kevin) Engelke of Edwardsville, Ill., and Tara (Donald) Lindsey of Glen Carbon, Ill.; her first husband, James "Jr." Landers of Elsa, Ill.; brother and sister, James Blair of Rosewood Heights, Ill., and Shirley Rostek of Titesville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Morgan and John Isaac.
