Doris Small (Curts) Small's Obituary
Doris J. Small, nee Curts, 87, of Collinsville, IL, born February 13, 1927 in Louisville, KY, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015.
Doris moved from Louisville, KY to Bradenton, FL in 1985. She was a member of Bright Star # 16 Eastern Star of Louisville, a member of the Manatee Shrine Club of Bradenton, and also a Lady Shriner of Sarasota, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Helen, nee Cline, Curts.
Doris is survived by her husband of 63 years , Gilbert R. Small of Collinsville, IL; a son, Richard W. Small and his wife Carol of Caseyville, IL; three granddaughters, Sherill Cox of Baytown, TX, and Nanette and Beth Small of Caseyville, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Beth''s college fund with checks payable to her.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, IL.
