Dorothea Lee "Dottie" Wecker, nee Nevenner, 55, of Waterloo, Ill., born Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1959, in Caseyville, Ill., died Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at her residence.
Dottie was a very caring and giving person and will be deeply missed by all. She was employed with Visiting Angels where she helped others as a home health care assistant. She worked for the VFW in O'Fallon, Ill., and Fairview Heights Ill. She was also a cook for the Belleville School District 118 for 10 years and the Caseyville Restaurant for 18 years.
Dottie enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and riding motorcycles with the Road Raptors Club out of the VFW in Fairview Heights. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Chester, Ill., and the Ladies of the Moose in O'Fallon, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Nevenner; her mother, Myrtle, nee Dunn, Leemon; and a brother, Dennis Nevenner.
Surviving are her fiance, Ron Buettner of Waterloo, Ill.; brother, Donald Nevenner of Belleville, Ill.; sister, Debra Ann Perdue of Chicago, Ill.; and close friends, Janis Wasser and Billy Cruez. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and many other very close friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015, at the funeral home with Msgr. James Blazine officiating. Burial will be at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, Ill.
