Dorothy E. Scalcione, nee Johnson, 79, of Collinsville, Ill., born Saturday, Nov. 30, 1935, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away at 5:55 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Rose, nee Recklein, Johnson; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Virginia Johnson; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Darlene and Stanley Barnes and Betty McAllister.

Surviving are her son, Peter Scalcione; three brothers, Richard (Juanita) Johnson of Virginia Beach, Va., Robert (Juanita) Johnson of Collinsville, Ill., and Russell Johnson of Collinsville, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
