Dorothy I. Truccano, nee Woltering, 93, of Collinsville, Ill., born April 20, 1920, in Edwardsville, Ill., died at 7:37 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013, in Maryville, Ill.

Mrs. Truccano was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, Ill., where she belonged to the Altar & Rosary Society, Booster Club, Daughters of Isabella and was the quilting chairman for more than 20 years. She also belonged to AARP, Senior Pinochle Club, Collinsville Senior Citizen's Club and was a Nutrition Center volunteer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Truccano, whom she married May 24, 1941, in Edwardsville, Ill., and who passed away Oct. 22, 1989; a great-grandson, Joshua Davis; her parents, John T. and Rosa, nee Mettler, Woltering.

Surviving are her daughters, Marilyn (Dave) Davis of Ballwin, Mo., Kathleen (Joe) Davis of Linwood, Kan., Linda (Hirchel "Butch" Jr.) Hill of Belleville, Ill.; grandchildren, Daniel Davis of New York, N.Y., Anthony (Jolene) Davis of Grants Pass, Ore., Paul Davis of Los Angeles, Calif., Maria (Larry) Oar of Dyer, Ind., Wayne (Dee) Davis of Lenexa, Kan., Karen (Michael) Gross of Owensboro, Ky., Michael Davis of Edwardsville, Ill., Gregory (Lisa) Davis of Glen Carbon, Ill., Carolyn (Paul) Rarick of Belleville, Ill., and Hirchel "Eddie" Hill III of Belleville, Ill. Also surviving are her 14 great-grandchildren, Catherine, Amanda, Brian, Rebecca Gross, Nicholas, Lauryn Davis, Mitchell, Abigail Davis, Brett, Derek, Delaney Davis, Larry Oar III, Julia Oar and Rachel Karstens.
