Dorthia L. Dailey, 60, of East St. Louis, Ill., born Oct. 15, 1951, in St. Louis, Mo., died at 12:25 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, Ill.



Miss Dailey loved spending time with her family. Some of her interests included reading, going to the zoo and her cats.



She was preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph and Dorthia L., nee Baker, Dailey.



Surviving are her sisters, Carol (Jerry) Hand of East St. Louis, Ill., and Mary Jordan of East St. Louis, Ill.; and brother, Bobby Baker; nephew, Jarrod Jordan; nieces, Jennifer (Eddy) Zavala and Melissa (Jamie) Mora; great-nieces and nephews, Kayla, Jordan, Nadia, Isabella, Lily and Lexus.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Lee Swallows officiating. Interment in Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
