Edmond H. Hoffman, born on July 16, 1943, in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, in Swansea, Illinois.

A graduate of East Side High School in 1962, Edmond went on to serve in the Army National Guard from 1964 to 1970. He dedicated 28 years of his professional life to Laclede Gas in St. Louis, Missouri, where he worked with distinction, primarily as a supervisor. Edmond was also a devoted member of the congregation at Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Julia Hoffman, and his brother-in-law, Del "Butch" Gruen. Edmond is survived by his twin brother Raymond Hoffman; his sister Karen Gruen; his nephew David Gruen; and his niece Deb (Tim) Hilpert and their children, Sara Hilpert and John (Alicia) Hilpert.

Services will be private at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Illinois. Edmond will be fondly remembered by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
