Edna Williams, nee Lewis, 89, of Granite City, Ill., born Aug. 9, 1925, in Dahlgren, Ill., passed away at 11:55 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Ill.
Edna was manager of the former Grandpa Pigeons. She enjoyed traveling and going out to eat.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Darmon "Junior" Carpenter and her second husband, Robert L. Williams; a daughter, Alice (Troy Sr.) Metheny; a son, Robert R. Williams; her parents, Archie and Alice, nee Cook, Lewis; two brothers, Frank Lewis and Lester Lewis; and a son-in-law, Robert Buehler.
Surviving are her daughter, Judy Buehler of Granite City, Ill.; son, Mark (Lisa) Williams of Branson, Mo.; sister-in-law, Peggy Lewis of Collinsville, Ill.; six grandchildren, Debra (Chris) Vaughn, Dave (Nichole) Allison, Troy (Stacy) Metheny Jr., Tom (Ticia) Metheny, Mark Williams Jr., and Amanda Williams; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Larry Cook officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
