Edward L. Brower Jr., 93, of Freeburg, Ill., born January 24, 1924, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away January 17, 2018, in Freeburg, Ill.

Edward valiantly served in the U.S Navy during WWII. He was employed by Kiesel Trucking then the Freeburg Care Center in the maintenance department.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn L., nee Perry, Brower; his parents, Edward L. Brower Sr. and Ruby, nee Onion, Brower.

Edward is survived by his sons, Edward L. Brower III of Caseyville, Ill., and Matthew K. Brower of Freeburg, Ill.; his four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral services for Edward will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2018, at Herr Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Caseyville Cemetery, Caseyville, Ill.
