Edward J. "Eagle Ed" Rosado Sr, 84 of Glen Carbon, Ill and formerly of Sycamore, Ill. passed away on Friday March 25, 2016 at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, Ill.
Ed was born on November 10, 1931 in DeKalb, Illinois, the son of the late Ernest and Dorothy nee Hitchcock Rosado. He was preceded in death by one sister Dora Rosado.
Ed was a graduate of DeKalb Township High School, Class of '49 and attended Northern Illinois University.
Ed was a former Real Estate broker and worked for ERA in DeKalb, Illinois. He was a member of the Sycamore Methodist Church where he was a member of the choir for over 40 years. He was a member of the Tebala Masonic Temple in Rockford, Ill and later became a Shriner. He was also a past Commander of the American Legion in Sycamore, Ill. He was a member of the 40&8 DeKalb County Voiture 207 for over 56 years. Ed proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and served in the Illinois National Guard as well.
Surviving is Ed's wife, Elaine nee Christiansen, whom he married October 3, 1953. One son Edward Jr. (Anne) of Edwardsville, Illinois and two grandchildren, James (Kim) Lockett and Evelyn Grace Rosado and one great grandchild Alivia Lockett.

Friends may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00PM on Thursday March 31, 2016 at Meridian Village, 27 Auerbach Place, Glen Carbon, Ill.
Services will be conducted on Thursday March 31, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Meridian Village with Rev. Brad Thomas officiating. Interment will follow with military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
