Edward W. Shea Jr., 75, of Caseyville, Ill., born June 12, 1942 in Belleville, Ill., passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017, in Belleville, Ill.

Edward lived by his motto of living for his church and family. He loved spending time with his family and also his church family at Heartland Family Church, Caseyville, Ill.

Preceding Edward in death were his children, Mona Lisa Allen, Edward Shea III, Ray Bradshaw; his parents, Edward W. and Charlotte, nee Taliday, Shea Sr.

Surviving are his loving wife Diana, nee Galvin, Shea of Caseyville, Ill.; his children, Michelle Shea of Granite City, Ill., Joseph Shea of Granite City, Ill., Richard Bradshaw of Paragould, Ar., Charlotte Shea of Caseyville, Ill., Flora (Joseph) Knox of Troy, Ill., Billy (Misty) Shea of Caseyville, Ill.; his brother, Dennis Shea of Collinsville, Ill.; his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials in honor of Edward may be made to Shriner''s Hospital for Children and can be received at the funeral home. Condolences to the family can be expressed through this online guestbook.

Visitation: Friends may visit 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Lawrence officiating. Burial with full military honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo., following the service.
