Edwin W. "Ed" Winkler Sr., 71, of Edwardsville, Ill., born July 25, 1942, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 5:32 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at his residence.

Ed was the owner and operator of Winkler Products Inc., in St. Louis, Mo. He also worked his farm for over 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer L. and Antoinette, nee Casey, Winkler; a sister, Delores Belobraydic; and a brother, Elmer Winkler.

Surviving are his son, Edwin (Kristen) Winkler Jr. of Edwardsville, Ill.; two granddaughters, Brianna and Ashlyn; great-grandson, Jayce White; and sisters and brothers, Lorraine Daly of St. Louis, Mo., Ronald Winkler of Sparks, Nev., Marie Hultz of Troy, Ill., Robert Winkler of St. Jacob, Ill., and Richard Winkler of Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at the funeral home with Father Pat Jakel officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon, Ill.
