Edythe "Charlene" Kebel, nee Talbott, 85, of Maryville, IL, formerly of Caseyville, IL, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018, at Liberty Village, Maryville, IL.  She was born August 19, 1932, in East St. Louis, IL, to the late William E. and Esther, nee Kirby, Talbott.

Charlene was a past member of the PTA and the Caseyville Jr. Women's Club.  She belonged to Caseyville United Methodist Church and was a life member of Caseyville VFW Post 1117 Ladies Auxiliary.

Over the years, Charlene worked at the Admiral, Hayes Freight Lines, Arbitron Inc., Wood's Water Proofing and Our Lady of the Snows Shrine.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear husband Kasper H. Kebel, Jr.; her five sisters, Virginia Krause, Martha Wegener, Evelyn Harrington, Willa Esther Talbott, Betty Enzwiler; her brother Russell Talbott.

Surviving are her children, Roxanne (Harry) Garber of Troy, IL, Terry (Daniel) Klingemann of Murphysboro, IL, and Jeff (Lori Allison) Kebel of Highland, IL; her grandchildren, Steven Garber, Kari (Steve) Sabaini, Matt (Shelbey) Garber, Eric Kebel and Kailey Allison; her great-grandchildren, River, Dylan, Annabel and McKenzie; her sister Sue Goretzke; her brother-in-law Bob (Marie) Kebel.
