Eileen Marie Killinger,  93, of Collinsville, Illinois, born July 17, 1928, passed away on January 9, 2022, at Liberty Village, Maryville, Illinois. She lived her entire life at 802 LaSalle in Collinsville, Illinois.

She graduated from Collinsville Township High School and a secretarial school in St. Louis.  Her working life was spent at Ralston Purina Company as an Executive Secretary.

She enjoyed bowling and traveling with her fellow workers.  She enjoyed traveling in the United States with friends and family. She loved cats!!

She was active in St. John's Church in Collinsville.  She taught Sunday school, was in the "Calico Player's" the choir, and various committees. She traveled with the choir to England and Europe.

Eileen was preceded in death by both the Rapp and Killinger grandparents; her father, Gilbert Killinger, and her mother, Mabel (Rapp) Kinnger.

She also lost her uncle, Lee Rapp Sr. and his wife Eva Rapp, and their son, Lee Rapp, Jr., his wife Norma survives.

Also surviving are her sister, Patricia Walker and her husband, Don Walker.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Katie Jo Bielke officicating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Illinois.
