Ellen H. Hayes, nee McAdoo, 66, of Vernon, Ill., born June 13, 1946, in Blytheville, Ark., died at 6:04 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at St. Mary's Good Samaritan Health Center, Mount Vernon, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. and Bonnie I., nee Young, McAdoo; a son, John Robert Hayes; and two brothers, Glen McAdoo and Gary McAdoo.

Surviving are her husband, Billy Joe Hayes Sr., of Vernon, Ill.; children, Tina M. Boothman of Collinsville, Ill., Billy Joe Hayes Jr., of Collinsville, Ill., and David Michael Hayes of Caseyville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Pat Schneidewind of Maryville, Ill., and Judy Hamelton.
