Elmer Raymond Hogan, 88, of Caseyville, Ill., born on Feb. 18, 1925, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Carlyle, Ill.

Mr. Hogan had served in the U.S. Navy and owned a furniture upholstery business in Caseyville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Elizabeth, nee Kopp, Hogan; and a brother Norman Hogan.

Surviving are his children, Diane (Gerald) Donaldson of Carlyle, Ill., Larry Hogan of Collinsville, Ill., Gene (Judy) Hogan of Healdsburg, Calif., and Kathy (Denny) Kuhn of Centralia, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
