IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Emilee Paige
Heacock
March 2, 1991 – April 12, 2021
The family of Emilee Paige Heacock is saddened to announce her passing on April 12, 2021 at the age of 30. Emilee was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. Born in Saint Louis, Missouri on March 2, 1991 to Richard and Ellen (Polka) Heacock, Emilee grew up in Caseyville, Illinois where she attended Hollywood Heights Elementary School and graduated from Collinsville High School in 2009. Emilee attended Southwestern Illinois College in Belleville, Illinois and Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California.
Emilee was a lover of animals and all things outdoors. She loved camping, hunting, 4-wheeling, dog parks and being with her family and many friends. She found comfort in simple things like reading, driving country roads while blaring country music or cuddled in bed with her pillows, her son and her dogs. She was happiest sitting by a fire with her family, friends, and dogs.
Emilee was a quiet, kind and gentle soul. She felt the pain of those around her and offered loving compassion to anyone that needed comfort or support. Her deep love for animals led her to taking in every stray dog she found. While living in California, she cared for sick animals in their homes, and she spent her free time taking her friends dogs on car rides and trips to the dog beaches and dog parks.
Emilee will be missed everyday by her son Riley, her parents Rick and Ellen Heacock, her brothers Jacob and Joshua, her sister-in-law Nicole, her loving Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many great friends. Emilee will continue to be loved here on earth and now in heaven. She is safely wrapped in the loving arms of her Grandparents, Richard Heacock, Richard and JoAnne Polka and her beloved cousins Ryan Moore and Kayla Polka.
For the brief time that she was here, Emilee loved hard and touched each of us in a special way. When you think of Emilee, reflect on all the good memories you have of her. Take comfort, as we do, knowing she is safe and happy. She is at peace. Her beautiful smile and sweet laugh finally come easy to her and is the warmth you feel when you think of her.
Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
