Emily Logan Carter, of Marine, IL, born May 16, 2011, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.



Emily was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jerry Carter. Surviving are her parents, Joseph and Wendy, nee Burris, Carter of Marine, Ill.; brothers, Elijah and Ethan Carter of Marine, Ill.; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Kathy Burris of Glen Carbon, Ill.; paternal grandmother, Carol Carter of San Tan Valley, Ariz.; and an aunt, Sherry Carter of San Tan Valley, Ariz.



Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes or Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital.



Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, Ill., with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon, IL.
