Emily Yvonne Seymore, 81, of Troy, Illinois, passed away on June 30th, 2023 with her family by her side in Belleville, Illinois. Emily was one of 10 children born to parents Delbert J. and Nena I. (Mizell) Self, on February 15, 1942. She was a proud resident of Fairmont City, Illinois for over 60 years before moving to Troy.

She enjoyed cross stitching, crossword puzzles, word searches and card games. Emily also loved spending time with family, who will miss her dearly.

Emily is preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Nena. As well as  her first husband Robert J. Carrillo, and her second husband Earl W. Seymore. Brothers Donald W. Self, Glen Ray Self, and sister Pamela Self also precede her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings, Joyce (Douglas) James, Berlon Eugene (JoAnn) Self, Brenda Stamps, Judy (Eugene) Lemming, Ronald (Vicki) Self, Laurie (Kurt) Hoock as well many nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 3:00pm - 6:00pm at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville.
