Emma N. Cadwell, passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her family by her side on April 1, 2014 at 99 years of age. She lived a happy, tranquil and independent life to the end.

Emma was born February 18, 1915 in Grantfork, Ill. Emma spent her early years on the family farm, but later moved to St. Louis after marrying the love of her life, Robert Cadwell. Living in St. Louis, and later in Collinsville, Ill., Emma spent most of her time caring for her daughter and tending to domestic activities. She also volunteered in sewing circles and flower clubs. Emma found true joy and relaxation when planting and tending to her flower garden. One of her favorite indoor pastimes was playing cards with friends and family while cheating all the while (LOL).

Emma left behind a daughter, Wilma Jean Fisher and her husband David W. Fisher, grand daughter Lisa A. Grybinas and her husband Linas P. Grybinas, and last but not least her great grandson David A. Grybinas. She lived a life dedicated to her family and her household.

Preceding her in death were her husband Robert H. Cadwell, and her parents, Ollie and Phillip Hencke, 2 sisters, 5 brothers and also nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Emma''s long and happy life, visitation will be held 10:00 " 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill., with memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
