Estia was born in Granite City, IL on April 29, 1949, the first child of John and Marybelle Hampsey.

She loved the Lord and was baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit at a very young age.

She worked in many different areas of the church, cooking, cleaning, serving in the minister's dining room, and singing in the choir. After graduating High School, she served as the church secretary for several years at 500 N. Kingshighway Blvd, in St. Louis.

Her parents took her as a young child to the Wood River, IL church under Bro. Clarence Gorman.

She also attended church on Tesson Ferry Rd in St. Louis under the ministry of her Uncle Bro. Thomas Miles Jolly.

She later attended Christian Worship Center in Caseyville, IL and Prayer Meetings in her Mother and Father's home.  She also opened her home for Prayer Meetings in Tennessee under the leadership of Herb and Thomas McCarty. It was a haven for her friends and family to worship and fellowship.

Estia was a cherished member of our family, a loyal friend, and a source of joy to all who knew her.
