Leoma Macek

Ethel Leoma Macek, 77, of Osage Beach, Mo. and formerly of the Granite City area passed away on May 22, 2018.
Ethel was born in Madison, Il. on October 9, 1940 the daughter of the late John and Mittie nee Jerrells Tur.  She was also preceded by her husband Donald D.

Ethel and her husband moved and lived at Osage Beach, Mo for several years and she enjoyed the lake activities, fishing and tending to her flowers and plants.  She worked at various retail outlets as a salesperson.   Her greatest joy was being a homemaker and raising her three sons.

Ethel is survived by her sons David ( Lisa ) of Fallbrook, CA., Jeffrey J. of Olathe, KS., and  Timothy (Juanita Parido) of Bloomington, IL.  Also one sister Cleda (Rocky) Mayes of Collinsville, IL.  Six grandchildren Jonathan, Matthew, Meagan, Nick and Peter Macek and Magda (Chris) Opperman.

Memorials may be given to the Dogwood Animal Shelter 1075 Runabout Dr. Osage Beach, MO. 65065 and condolences may be expressed on this web site.

Friends may call at the Sunset Hill Funeral Home 50 Fountain Dr Glen Carbon, IL. on Wednesday June 6, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
