Ethel E. Matychowiak, nee Agne, 92, of Collinsville, Ill., formerly of Caseyville, Ill., born Aug. 29, 1918, in Belleville, Ill., died at 11:25 a.m. on Monday, July 4, 2011, at her residence.



Mrs. Matychowiak was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Caseyville, Ill., where she was a member of the St. Ann's Altar Society, she was also a member of Caseyville Senior Citizens Caseyville VFW Auxiliary and the Caseyville Firemen's Auxiliary.



Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Matychowiak; parents, Walter and Wilhelmina, nee Ladensack, Agne; and brothers, Alvin Agne, Arnold Agne, Walter Agne Jr., Verlin Agne, and Irvin Agne.



Surviving are her children, Joyce (Gerald) Erno of Caseyville, Ill., Sylvia (Anthony) Riester of Collinsville, Ill., and David (Carol) Matychowiak of Saco, Maine; brother and sister, Stanley( Celeste) Agne of Belleville, Ill., and Delores (Edward) Holdener of Smithton, Ill.; sisters-in-law, Lillian Agne of Marissa, Ill., Helen Agne of Carlyle, Ill., and Aurelia Agne of Belleville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville, Ill., with Father Joe Rascher officiating. Interment in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
