Eunice I. Sommerfeldt, 91, of Caseyville, Ill., born April 29, 1920, in St. Louis, Mo., died at 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2011, at Eden Village Care Center, Glen Carbon, Ill.



Miss Sommerfeldt was a member of the Caseyville United Methodist Church in Caseyville, Ill.



She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Edna, nee Worst, Sommerfeldt; and her siblings, Dorothy Sommerfeldt, Velma Sommerfeldt, Arvella O'Hanahan, Virginia Sommerfeldt, Gladys Hess, Elbert Sommerfeldt, Wilton Sommerfeldt and Herbert Sommerfeldt.



Surviving are her nieces and nephews. Patricia (Michael) Ryan of Collinsville, Ill., Sherryl (Michael) Juehne of Troy, Ill., Maureen Simmons, Michael O'Hanahan, David O'Hanahan and David Sommerfeldt; great-niece, Lindsey Mecklenburg; and two great-nephews, Michael and Presley Ryan.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dave Kueker officiating. Interment in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
